Luang Prabang <-> Vientiane Long One Way Rental

Starting the route, you’ll head northeast to explore rural Laos at its best. You’ll get the chance to ride gnarly tracks through remote villages and navigate twisty mountainous paths, snaking through beautiful scenery while you conquer the challenging roads of North Laos, before ending some of the days relaxing in hot springs.
This route can be extended to your liking. For those short on time, the non-stop 8-day route will give you an expedited tour of the main highlights of North Laos. You’ll have the opportunity to explore spectacular caves, swim in deep blue lagoons, hike mountainous peaks, go tubing down rivers and through caves, and unravel mysteries of historical UNESCO World Heritage sites.
Layovers for an 8-day trip are below, though a longer trip is highly recommended.

Day 8 – Vang Vieng – Vientiane
For those with more time, we recommend extending your trip; The ► symbol reflects how many extra nights you may want to add in at each location. By doing so, you’ll be able to include activities such as taking to the sky in a hot air balloon or paramotor along with hiking mountains and waking up above the clouds, visiting cultural village homestays, and exploring jungles via river safari, to get a true feel for what Northern Laos has to offer.
Whichever duration you choose, there is quite a lot of riding over varied road surfaces, which can be tiring; you may therefore want to extend your trip to factor in some rest days – We are of course happy to accommodate changes mid-trip where possible, but this would be entirely dependent on bike availability, so we strongly recommend planning this in advance – particularly in high season.
Please contact us or speak to one of the team in our Style Motorbike rental shops in Laos or Vietnam – we will be more than happy to personalise the perfect Laos motorbike road trip itinerary around your preferences.
